Darya Dugina, daughter of Alexander Dugin, was killed on August 20th after a bomb went off in her car. Alexander Dugin was described by CNN as being the architect and "spiritual guide" to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. His daughter, Darya, was a political journalist. Reuters claims that Dugina and her father were attending a festival outside Moscow, and decided to switch seats before driving home. The bomb went off while Dugina was behind the wheel. The bomb was, according to Russia's Federal Security (FSB), planted by a Ukrainian woman who rented an apartment in the same building as Dugina for a month, and followed her through Moscow during this time. The bomb was planted on the underside of her car, and detonated while Dugina was driving.
