Elon Musk has backed out of $44 billion deal to buy Twitter after claiming that they did not supply enough information about bots on their site. Twitter is now suing the billionaire in an effort to make him follow through on his deal. Musk first offered to buy Twitter in April for $80.05 per share. Twitter then offered him a seat on the board, but quickly announced that he would not be joining. Musk pulled out of the deal in July, accusing them of "dramatically understating the proportion of spam and false accounts". Morningstar equity analysist Ali Mogharabi stated that "While the two parties likely are facing a lengthy battle of which the final decision remains very uncertain, we believe Twitter may have the stronger case".
