Outtakes, backstories and early versions of songs on the Beatles album 'Revolver' will come to light with the reissue of the LP. The new edition was created by Giles Martin, son of late Beatles producer George Martin, and Klaus Voormann, close friend of the band and designer of the album cover. Martin claims that Paul McCartney said of the album, "This is it. This is the record where we were each most ourselves. You can hear us making our own contributions." Martin and Voormann describe the album as being the last time every member worked together. Martin says “They were already pulling away, but collaborating". Disagreements were set aside for the music, and the new edition highlights this. The reissue contains the original, mournful story behind 'Yellow Submarine', debates about the opening of 'Got To Get You Into My Life', as well as the violins in 'Eleanor Rigby'. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney sat in on the making of the new edition, and Martin says that the album lets listeners "hear a song emerge. It's great."
